Structural BIM Engineer

About the Role

Outdoor Factory MEA is seeking a Structural BIM Engineer to join their team in Jizan, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is critical for the design, coordination, and execution of structural systems within themed environments, attractions, and entertainment facilities. The position requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams using BIM-based engineering workflows.

Role Context

The Structural BIM Engineer will contribute to projects by applying their knowledge of structural engineering principles and BIM methodologies. This involves ensuring that all structural designs are compliant with relevant standards and project specifications, while also facilitating seamless coordination across various disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform structural design and analysis for primary or secondary steel structures.
• Prepare detailed shop drawings.
• Generate comprehensive calculation reports.
• Review structural drawings and reports for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure all designs adhere to client standards, local regulations, and project specifications.
• Coordinate structural models with all other disciplines using Navisworks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering is required; a master's degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering.
• Experience working with the Saudi Building Code (SBC) and international standards such as ACI, AISC, BS, and Eurocode.
