About the Role

Amazon Saudi Arabia is seeking an Area Manager for Fulfillment Center Operations in Jeddah. This full-time role involves leading a diverse team within a fast-paced operational environment, ensuring business objectives are met and processes run efficiently. The position requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

As an Area Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in the complexities of global operations, focusing on productivity and seamless execution. You will work closely with colleagues to address operational challenges, ensuring consistent quality and productivity across shifts. The role involves continuous learning about business operations and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and wellbeing within the team and across the site.
• Analyze and implement corrective actions to maintain high levels of quality and productivity, meeting business objectives across all shifts.
• Support and lead a team, managing administrative tasks and fostering a strong team culture.
• Analyze performance data and suggest process improvements to optimize work and enhance customer service.
• Collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes and operational procedures.

Daily Operations

This role is based at one of our operational sites and involves working shifts. Daily tasks include maintaining safety standards, monitoring process efficiency, and prioritizing routine team management. You will also handle individual escalations, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and participate in wide-scale operational contingency planning. Collaboration with internal teams and external partners is essential to meet customer demands and targets, involving data analysis and discussions on technical improvements with engineers.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
