Role Overview: Business Analyst Data Lakehouse Program

TCS is seeking a Business Analyst for its Data Lakehouse Program. This full-time role is based in Makkah, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah. The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions within data-centric projects, focusing on data lakehouse initiatives. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business, IT, EDM, DWH, Data Governance, and reporting stakeholders to gather and document requirements.
• Conduct workshops to understand business processes, reporting needs, and data consumption requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories, managing traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Analyze source systems, data flows, and business processes, supporting logical and physical data model validation aligned with FSLDM and FSAS standards.
• Review and validate source-to-target mappings, transformation rules, and business logic, ensuring accurate capture of business definitions, data semantics, and reporting requirements.
• Define and validate business data quality rules, supporting data profiling, reconciliation, and validation activities across various data layers.
• Collaborate with reporting teams to understand report logic and dependencies, supporting the mapping of legacy reports to new Gold Layer data structures.
• Prepare and review SIT/UAT scenarios and test cases, coordinating business testing activities and validating functional and data requirements.
• Prepare BRDs, Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), Data Mapping Documents, Process Flows, and User Stories.
• Maintain requirement traceability matrices, issue logs, and decision registers, supporting data governance, metadata, lineage, and compliance initiatives.

Experience and Qualifications
