About the Role

Saudi Air Navigation Services (SANS) is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role is focused on developing and administering data and analytics products, including dashboards and reports. The successful candidate will also be responsible for fostering analytics best practices across various organizational units, contributing to SANS's strategic objectives and aspirations within set KPIs and adopted policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit reporting requirements, including metrics and methodologies for reporting and analytics products.
• Participate in the design and deployment of data models, accompanying storage setup, and ETL queries development in relevance to reporting projects.
• Develop interactive corporate dashboards and insightful visualizations to digest complex business problems and communicate observations and recommendations.
• Collaborate with Data Architects, system engineers, and Application Specialists on amendments associated with reporting systems and interfaces.
• Maintain reporting systems and troubleshoot user-reported issues.
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with internal customers to analyze corporate reporting improvement or patching/scaling needs.
• Review advanced modeling, analytics, and business intelligence tools to provide actionable insights and resolve assigned business/operational problems.

Data Governance and Reporting Practices

• Assist with data governance policy setting, master data management, data dictionaries creation and standardization, and relevant processes documentation for corporate reporting and analytics projects.
• Support the standardization of reporting tooling and practice across the organization.
• Handle consultation sub-stream for departments lacking development resources.
• Adhere to required CICD practices during development, including management, deployment, and maintenance of repos, committing, testing, and version control tooling.

System Development and Improvement

• Assist in the selection or development of reporting, visualization, and data analytics systems or platforms considered by the company management (front-end development).
• Participate in designing and implementing BI software and systems across all development lifecycle engagement points, including integration with data marts, data warehouses, data lakes, storage blobs, and RDS nodes.
• Complete technical development lifecycle documentation experience including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems and processes, taking into account leading practices, changes in business environment, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
