About the Role

Brenntag Saudi Arabia is seeking a Business Manager Pharma for the GCC Region. This full-time role, based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, is responsible for driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, developing new business opportunities, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers within the pharmaceutical business sector.

Core Responsibilities

• Develop a quality and price-oriented strategy focused on new pharmaceutical chemicals, additives, APIs, and biopharma ingredients in pioneer GCC countries such as KSA and UAE.
• Execute frequent customer visits, prepare, coordinate, negotiate, and close proposals, and respond to RFQs.
• Manage relevant sales teams.
• Ensure constant analysis of existing and new customer groups and sales opportunities.

Business Development and Strategy

• Develop market know-how and strategies specifically for the Pharma market.
• Assist in strategy creation and implementation at existing accounts and distributors through the development of effective relationships at all levels and prospecting new business possibilities.
• Develop market know-how and strategies for adding new suppliers in the assigned industry.
• Lead the introduction of new products, including effective launch strategy, development of product literature (*, technical data sheets), inventory support, product testing, strategic marketing strategies, and contractor/specifier acceptance to achieve sales objectives.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Chemistry, preferably from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of trackable experience in pharmaceutical chemicals or specialty chemicals sales and business development is mandatory.
• Must be based in Saudi Arabia.

• Fluency in English.
• Ability to maintain long-lasting relationships, coupled with excellent communication and process management skills.
• Capability to leverage understanding of business, operating, and financial environments, as well as customer needs, to deliver results.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver results during uncertainty, despite changes and ambiguity.
• A proactive self-starter, willing to accept responsibility for business tasks.
