About the Role

Ninja, a quick-commerce company, is seeking a Category Specialist to manage its sweet products category. This full-time position is based in Jeddah, Makkah Province, and involves leading the development and execution of category strategies to drive growth and enhance customer satisfaction.

Role Purpose

The Category Specialist will be responsible for the strategic oversight of the sweet products portfolio. This includes conducting thorough market analysis, monitoring industry trends, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure product offerings are compelling and achieve strong performance within the quick-commerce sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze market trends and consumer preferences specific to the sweets category to inform product assortment and pricing strategies.
• Develop and manage relationships with suppliers to secure high-quality sweet products while optimizing cost and availability.
• Collaborate with merchandising and marketing teams to enhance product visibility and create impactful promotional campaigns.
• Monitor category performance metrics and utilize data to make informed decisions that drive sales and profitability.
• Conduct regular reviews of category performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet market demands and business objectives.
• Participate in the planning and execution of seasonal and promotional product launches.
• Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Ninja maintains a competitive edge in the sweet products category.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in category management, preferably within the retail or quick-commerce sector, with a focus on food or confectionery products.
