The Role: Chef De Partie - Bakery

Calo Inc is seeking a Chef De Partie - Bakery to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves working alongside the Head Chef to manage the bakery section. The position requires a strong bakery background and creativity in pastry, breads, and desserts. The successful candidate will use their culinary and managerial skills to enhance the company's bakery offerings and uphold high standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure efficient operation of the bakery section while maintaining Calo's quality standards.
• Lead the bakery team in an organized and timely manner.
• Provide coverage for the Head Baker or Section Lead as required.
• Resolve bakery-related issues and maintain workflow continuity.
• Manage and train bakery staff, create work schedules, and assess performance.
• Communicate tasks and expectations clearly to team members.
• Order and manage bakery inventory appropriately.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers.
• Produce high-quality baked goods, ensuring consistency in taste, texture, and presentation.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a bakery role.
• Must be currently present in KSA.
• Proficiency in English.
• Demonstrated strong bakery background.
• Creativity in pastry, breads, and desserts.

Work Environment

This role is based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time position within Calo Inc's kitchen operations.
