Chief Technology Officer

About the Role

Ruya Recruitment is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for a well-established financial services organization headquartered in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role involves leading the technology and digital transformation strategy as the organization embarks on a five-year growth journey. The Chief Technology Officer will report directly to the CEO and play a key role in shaping the company's technology roadmap and driving enterprise-wide digital transformation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the organization's digital and technology strategy in alignment with business objectives.
• Lead enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives across technology and operations.
• Drive the adoption of AI, automation, robotics, and emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and customer experience.
• Oversee the implementation of new technology platforms and digital solutions.
• Build, develop, and lead a high-performing technology function.
• Partner with the CEO, Executive Committee, and Board to deliver strategic technology initiatives.
• Ensure technology, cybersecurity, and business continuity frameworks support the organization's long-term growth.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the business.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 12 years of leadership experience within technology.
• Minimum of 5 years operating at the C-Level, such as CIO, CTO, Chief Digital Officer, or an equivalent executive level.
• Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide digital transformation programs.
• Experience implementing AI, automation, and modern digital platforms.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to align technology strategy to business goals.
• Experience within financial services, FinTech, or other regulated environments is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
