Cloud Infrastructure Administrator

About the Role

Dallah Albaraka is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Administrator to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves designing, implementing, administering, and maintaining the organization's Microsoft cloud infrastructure and productivity platforms. The administrator will ensure the availability, security, performance, and efficient operation of cloud services, identity and access management, collaboration platforms, and related infrastructure, while supporting cloud adoption and service improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Provision, configure, implement, administer, maintain, upgrade, and monitor cloud infrastructure services, including Microsoft Azure virtual machines, networks, storage, servers, backup, and recovery.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 services such as Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, and Microsoft Teams.
• Manage Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory environments, covering user and group management, enterprise applications, authentication, and access controls.
• Implement and maintain cloud data security configurations and compliance controls using Microsoft Purview and other technologies, including monitoring security recommendations and managing email security solutions.
• Monitor cloud service health, availability, capacity, and performance; troubleshoot technical issues, and provide Level 3 (L3) technical support for Microsoft 365 environments.
• Oversee cloud backup and recovery arrangements, retention configurations, and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Support cloud adoption, infrastructure migrations, tenant configurations, service deployments, and system integration projects.
• Utilize PowerShell, scripting, and automation tools to streamline cloud infrastructure administration and optimize resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency, system performance, and user experience within the collaboration environment.
• Ensure successful execution of IT infrastructure projects and maintain accurate technical documentation in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement policies, standards, and procedures for department management, aligning with National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) guidelines.
• Perform regular infrastructure maintenance, system updates, and technical improvements to ensure stability, security, and reliability of cloud platforms.
• Coordinate with various IT teams within Dallah Digital to resolve cross-platform issues and deliver reliable cloud services.
• Manage internal and external technical communications, serving as an escalation point for IT infrastructure and support issues.
• Provide Microsoft 365 technical support to Dallah Digital sister companies as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related IT field.
• Microsoft professional certifications in Microsoft 365 administration and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the IT field, including IT operations, infrastructure, or applications management.
• Proven experience managing Microsoft 365 environments and providing comprehensive technical support.
• Demonstrated experience in delivering technical support services.
• Experience managing complex IT infrastructure environments.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, focusing on maintaining and enhancing the cloud infrastructure for Dallah Albaraka and its sister companies. The role involves collaboration with various IT teams and external service providers to ensure robust and secure cloud operations.
