Demand Planning Assistant Manager

About the Role

Tamer Group is seeking a Demand Planning Assistant Manager to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role is responsible for overseeing demand forecasting and market intelligence across all regions, translating commercial strategies, product launches, promotions, and market dynamics into data-driven demand plans.

Role Purpose

The Demand Planning Assistant Manager will ensure optimal supply, inventory management, and service levels by developing unbiased, data-driven demand plans. This position plays a key role in the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, acting as the business owner for demand inputs.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and govern the demand planning framework across various markets and channels.
• Drive forecast accuracy, reduce bias, and enhance planning discipline within the organization.
• Develop SKU-level forecasts by market utilizing statistical models and market intelligence.
• Integrate product launches, promotions, tender pipelines, and lifecycle management into demand plans.
• Conduct scenario planning and demand risk assessments to anticipate market changes.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations and Commercial teams to validate assumptions and demand phasing.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, bias, and demand volatility metrics.
• Lead demand planning process development and performance management initiatives.
• Prepare executive demand reviews and KPI dashboards for leadership.
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all demand planning activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in demand planning or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and govern demand planning frameworks.
• Proficiency in developing SKU-level forecasts using statistical models and market intelligence.
• Experience with scenario planning and demand risk assessments.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring collaboration with various internal teams including Sales Operations and Commercial departments.
