The Role of Electrical Engineer

Almad Contracting is seeking a full-time Electrical Engineer to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah. This on-site role involves overseeing and executing electrical works for various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising and executing electrical works on project sites.
• Reviewing electrical designs and technical drawings.
• Performing accurate load calculations.
• Coordinating effectively with project teams and various stakeholders.
• Supporting testing and commissioning activities for electrical systems.
• Ensuring strict compliance with applicable standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Must be a Saudi National.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Strong experience in infrastructure projects is required.
• Previous experience with National Water Company (NWC) projects is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in supervising and executing electrical works.

Required Skills

• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of power distribution, electrical systems, and relevant codes and standards.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and CAD tools.
• Good communication skills in English are essential; Arabic is an advantage.
• Ability to work effectively on-site in Jeddah and adapt to evolving project requirements.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, Makkah. The successful candidate will be expected to work from project locations as required.
