About the Role

Arctech is seeking an Environmental Health Safety Specialist to join our team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are committed to maintaining high safety standards within a factory environment.

Role Overview

The Environmental Health Safety Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with safety procedures and identifying potential hazards across the factory and work areas. This role involves active monitoring, conducting inspections, and supporting incident investigation and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily safety inspections across the factory and work areas.
• Monitor employees and contractors to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
• Identify unsafe conditions and behaviors and follow up on corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and compliance with safety requirements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and basic safety awareness sessions.
• Report and assist in investigating workplace incidents and near misses.
• Monitor high-risk activities and ensure required safety precautions are followed.
• Maintain basic safety inspection and incident records.
• Support emergency drills and evacuation activities.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
• Good knowledge of workplace hazards and safety procedures.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification is preferred.

Experience

This position requires 0-1 years of relevant experience, making it suitable for recent graduates or those early in their career in environmental health and safety.
