About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts in Jeddah is seeking an Event Executive for a full-time position. This role is integral to supporting sales and marketing activities, assisting employees, and ensuring high standards of guest service and operational quality. The Event Executive will manage administrative tasks, provide sales support, and foster positive internal and external relationships within the hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales and marketing efforts by creating spreadsheets for mailing lists and tours, and managing information within sales process software.
  • Assign lead calls or emails to Sales Executives based on a line rotation system.
  • Utilize sales techniques, including up-selling, to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours and address inquiries about property facilities and services.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation to guests.
  • Contact appropriate individuals or departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems efficiently.

Operational and Administrative Duties

  • Regularly update information boards to inform employees of important events.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees regarding job duties, such as improving package sales.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and the first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Read and visually verify information in various formats.
  • Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

  • Protect company assets and promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
  • Communicate professionally and clearly, both verbally and in writing.

  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards, and identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

  • 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks such as moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and maintain professional relationships.
  • Proficiency in administrative tasks and sales support software is preferred.

This full-time position is based in Jeddah, where the Event Executive will contribute to a dynamic hotel environment, focusing on guest satisfaction and operational excellence within Delta Hotels and Resorts.
