About the Event Executive Role
Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Event Executive to join its team in Makkah and Jeddah. This full-time position requires 0-1 years of experience and offers an opportunity to contribute to the company's event and sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update the information board to communicate important events to employees.
- Provide support and guidance to employees facing challenges with their job duties, including low package sales numbers.
- Distribute lead calls and emails to Sales Executives according to established line rotation.
- Develop and manage spreadsheets for Sales and Marketing activities, including mailing lists and tour information.
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify data within sales process software.
- Liaise with relevant individuals or departments to address and resolve guest calls, requests, or issues.
- Promote brand image awareness both internally and externally.
- Employ sales techniques to maximize revenue while fostering guest loyalty to Marriott, including up-selling strategies.
- Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours, and provide information on property facilities and services.
Operational Duties and Standards
- Assist management with employee hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching. Serve as a role model and the initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
- Report all accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to management promptly.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance. Protect company assets.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest service needs. Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities. Express genuine appreciation to guests.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others. Prepare and review written documents with accuracy and completeness. Answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
- Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Identify, recommend, develop, and implement improvements to organizational quality.
- Visually read and verify information presented in various formats.
- Perform physical tasks including moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and placing objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Undertake other reasonable job duties as assigned by Supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of related work experience is necessary.
- No supervisory experience is required for this role.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Makkah and Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
