The Role: Events Booking Center Sales Executive

We are seeking an Events Booking Center Sales Executive to join our team in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is responsible for a variety of sales and operational support tasks, ensuring smooth communication and efficient processes within the sales and marketing team. The role involves maximizing revenue, maintaining guest loyalty, and supporting the overall sales operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize sales techniques, including up-selling, to maximize revenue while maintaining existing guest loyalty to Marriott.
  • Encourage guests or callers to purchase or schedule preview package sales/tours and answer questions about property facilities/services.
  • Assign lead calls or emails to Sales Executives based on line rotation.
  • Update information boards regularly to inform employees of important events.
  • Create spreadsheets to organize information related to Sales and Marketing activities, including mailing lists and tours.
  • Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information in software involved in the sales process.
  • Contact appropriate individuals or departments to resolve guest calls, requests, or problems.
  • Promote awareness of the brand image both internally and externally.
  • Provide assistance and guidance to employees struggling with job duties, such as low package sales numbers.
  • Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and protect company assets.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately and completely, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, develop, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality.
  • Read and visually verify information in a variety of formats.
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
  • License or Certification: None required.
