About the Finance Manager Role

PROVEN is seeking a full-time Finance Manager for a well-established client specializing in medical products and healthcare solutions. This role is based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah, and requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Finance Manager will establish, organize, and lead the company's Accounting and Finance Department. This position is central to building a robust finance function that supports the organization's overall business objectives, ensuring financial integrity, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. The role involves close collaboration with senior management and various business departments to provide accurate financial information, enhance profitability, support strategic decision-making, and drive sustainable business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Establish and lead the Accounting & Finance Department, including defining its structure, reporting lines, and team development.
  • Recruit, mentor, and evaluate finance personnel, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop finance policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal controls, ensuring effective collaboration across business functions.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including the General Ledger, month-end and year-end closing processes, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company policies.
  • Lead the annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, liquidity, and banking relationships.
  • Manage manufacturing cost accounting, including standard costing, cost variance analysis, and product costing.
  • Oversee inventory valuation, reconciliation, physical counts, and stock audits.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS, ZATCA, VAT, statutory reporting, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Lead internal and external audits and strengthen internal controls.
  • Lead ERP implementation and optimization initiatives, driving financial process automation and system integration.
  • Serve as a strategic financial advisor to senior management, supporting business planning, expansion, and investment decisions.

Candidate Profile and Experience

The ideal candidate will be proactive, strategic, and hands-on, possessing a strong background in finance and accounting. Key requirements include:

  • Experience: 5-10 years in a relevant finance or accounting management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish and lead a finance department.
  • Proficiency in financial management, accounting operations, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, ZATCA, VAT, and corporate governance principles.
  • Experience with ERP systems implementation and financial process improvement initiatives.
