Fleet Supervisor

About the Role

Alesayi Holding is seeking a Fleet Supervisor to manage regional fleet operations in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing the transportation of the workforce between accommodation and client sites, utilizing buses, vans, and service vehicles. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in fleet management.

Role Overview

The Fleet Supervisor is responsible for ensuring reliable and efficient transportation services by managing fleet costs, vehicle utilization, maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. The role also includes driver workforce management and monitoring operational performance across the regional fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the regional fleet budget, including fuel, maintenance, leasing/ownership, drivers, and fines; monitor cost per kilometre and per vehicle, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions.
• Review and approve supplier invoices and statements of account for fuel, maintenance, leasing, insurance, and spare parts; reconcile charges, investigate discrepancies, and dispute unjustified costs.
• Develop and review regional route plans, consolidate trips, and optimize fleet size based on operational demand; utilize GPS tracking and fleet data to minimize idle vehicles and unauthorized use.
• Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules and validate vehicle inspections, registration, insurance, permits, and roadworthiness requirements; monitor vehicle availability and minimize downtime.
• Enforce driver operating procedures and road-safety standards; investigate incidents, ensure compliance with driving licence requirements, rest hours, and vehicle checks, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Plan driver staffing levels according to operational demand; manage driver rosters, shifts, attendance, leave coverage, performance, and conduct through Fleet Operations Coordinators.
• Coordinate transportation requirements for new project mobilization, demobilization, and changes in workforce demand to ensure timely availability of vehicles and drivers.
• Prepare and review monthly regional fleet performance reports covering trips, kilometres, fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, availability, incidents, and cost per kilometre; identify improvement opportunities.
• Supervise Fleet Operations Coordinators and drivers, establish performance expectations, address operational issues, and ensure effective coordination across shifts and project locations.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in fleet supervision or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage regional fleet operations, including budget, maintenance, and compliance.
• Experience with driver workforce management and operational reporting.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, requiring active management of regional fleet operations and coordination with various teams and project sites.
