About the Role

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Food & Beverage Order Taker to join our team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is open to Saudi Nationals. The Order Taker serves as the primary point of contact for guests wishing to place food and beverage orders, ensuring a smooth and satisfying experience through accurate order processing, clear communication, and attentive service.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests courteously and take food and beverage orders in person, by phone, or through electronic channels.
• Accurately enter orders into the Point of Sale (POS) system, confirming special requests, dietary needs, and allergies.
• Provide detailed menu information and offer appropriate recommendations or upsells to enhance the guest experience.
• Coordinate effectively with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
• Verify order accuracy before handover and manage any necessary remakes or corrections.
• Process payments and adhere to established cash-handling and POS procedures.
• Monitor stock levels, report out-of-stock items, and assist with basic inventory tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organized order station, ensuring menu and price information is current.
• Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 year of experience in a similar food and beverage service role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be a Saudi National.

Work Environment and Location

This full-time position is based within IHG Hotels & Resorts properties located in Jeddah and Makkah, Makkah Region, Saudi Arabia. The role involves working directly with guests and collaborating with various hotel departments to deliver high-quality food and beverage service.
