About the Role

Crown Holdings is seeking a skilled Front End Mechanic to join its team in Makkah, specifically covering operations in Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and safety of the company's fleet through comprehensive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on various vehicles and equipment.

Role Overview

The Front End Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring that all vehicles and industrial machinery are in optimal working condition. This involves performing both routine preventative maintenance and addressing complex mechanical issues to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying potential problems and executing timely repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on a variety of vehicles and equipment, including trucks, forklifts, and other industrial machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Repair and replace defective parts, including components of engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems and ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks as required for repairs and modifications.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
• Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures.
• Assist with the inventory management of parts and supplies.
• Collaborate effectively with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with operational duties spanning Jeddah and Makkah. The role involves working within a team environment, focused on maintaining a diverse fleet of vehicles and industrial equipment to support company operations.
