About the Role

SO Original Art and Beauty Jeddah is seeking a Hairdresser to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role requires 2-5 years of experience and involves representing the salon's style and philosophy while staying updated on new trends and products. The Hairdresser will be responsible for delivering professional hair services and contributing to revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet clients and conduct consultations in line with salon guidelines to understand their requirements.
• Understand the pricing details of all hair services and educate clients accordingly during consultations.
• Execute cutting, coloring, styling, and finishing services to high standards, providing clients with information about products used.
• Recommend appropriate homecare products to clients during each service session.
• Maintain detailed client service history by recording products used during each visit (*, hair color, treatment details).
• Learn and perfect new styles and techniques.
• Maintain technical knowledge by attending external and internal educational workshops, and by reviewing publications, internet, and social media.
• Attend external events to promote the brand.
• Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly service and product revenue targets.
• Build a regular clientele.
• Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels and in the product ordering process for the hair section.
• Ensure proper care of tools and equipment.
• Adhere to salon and municipality standards for sterilization and sanitation.
• Ensure working areas are kept clean and all equipment and products are used with care.
• Farewell clients and guide them to their next area.
• Reference and abide by the Salon’s Standard Operating Procedures, Policies & Forms Manuals.

Required Experience and Skills

• 2-5 years of experience as a Hairdresser.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for fashion, music, art, new products, and hair.
• Ability to train new salon assistants.
• Motivated and enthusiastic approach to work.
• Caring and nurturing demeanor.

Work Environment and Conditions

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Makkah. The role requires willingness to work shift hours, including nights and weekends, to meet salon operational needs.
