About the Role

Accor is seeking a Host/Hostess of Saudi Nationality to join the team in Jeddah. This full-time role is central to delivering a positive guest experience by managing the initial welcome and guiding guests through their dining journey. The Host/Hostess serves as the primary point of contact, ensuring a refined and personalized arrival that reflects the service standards of IBIS.

Role Context

Working closely with the Food & Beverage team, this position supports efficient front-of-house operations. Key responsibilities include managing guest flow, handling reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. The Host/Hostess ensures that every guest interaction upholds IBIS standards for service excellence and hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage guests in a professional and confident manner, adhering to IBIS service standards.
• Manage guest seating, table allocations, and dining flow based on reservations and walk-in guests.
• Coordinate with the service team to accommodate guest requests and ensure expectations are met.
• Maintain knowledge of menus, special events, seating arrangements, and guest preferences.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns professionally, escalating issues when necessary.
• Maintain an organized and welcoming host stand and reception area throughout service.
• Manage reservations accurately using restaurant reservation systems, including guest details and seating plans.
• Confirm reservation information and communicate updates to relevant team members.
• Answer phone calls professionally and assist guests with inquiries and bookings.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and service teams to support efficient service flow.
• Assist with side duties such as menu preparation, table resets, and maintaining the entrance area.
• Maintain IBIS grooming and appearance standards while representing the brand with professionalism.
• Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and company service standards.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through collaboration and effective communication.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi Nationality is required.
• 0-1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to welcome and engage guests in a warm, professional, and confident manner.
• Strong organizational skills for managing guest seating and reservations.
• Effective communication skills to coordinate with guests and team members.
• Adherence to service excellence and genuine hospitality standards.

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, requiring close collaboration with the Food & Beverage team to ensure smooth restaurant operations and a consistent guest experience.
