Host/Hostess (Saudi Nationality)

About the Role

W Hotels is seeking a Host/Hostess of Saudi Nationality to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience who are dedicated to providing excellent guest service and maintaining a welcoming dining environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival and determine the number in their party.
• Seat guests efficiently at clean, available tables, ensuring chairs are pulled out and current menus are presented.
• Guide guests through dining areas and provide assistance as needed.
• Arrange tables, chairs, and settings, organizing seating for groups with specific requirements.
• Verify that place settings are appropriate, with each guest having a napkin, clean silverware, and other standard items.
• Inspect menus to ensure they are current, clean, plentiful, and free of wrinkles.
• Maintain cleanliness in work areas throughout the day, adhering to clean-as-you-go procedures.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.

Operational Standards and Professional Conduct

• Adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management and complete required safety training and certifications.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
• Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards.
• Communicate professionally and clearly with others, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.

Teamwork and Quality Assurance

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Support the team in achieving common goals and respond appropriately to concerns from other employees.
• Ensure adherence to established quality expectations and standards in all tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.

Additional Duties

Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
