About the Role

Daikin Saudi is seeking an HVAC Assistant Technician to join the Service & Maintenance team in Jeddah, Makkah. This full-time role is suitable for early career Saudi talent with 0-1 years of experience, offering an opportunity to gain practical field experience and develop technical skills with leading HVAC technologies.

Role Overview

The HVAC Assistant Technician will support the experienced service team with HVAC maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installation, testing, and commissioning at customer sites. This position provides hands-on experience with systems such as Chillers, VRV, DX, AHU, FAHU, and FCU, fostering the development of technical and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend service and maintenance calls for HVAC systems.
• Assist with preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and commissioning tasks.
• Identify and report mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration faults.
• Perform basic refrigerant handling, leak checks, and component replacement under supervision.
• Read basic technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals.
• Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and equipment and provide professional customer support.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Saudi national.
• Diploma or Technical/Vocational Certificate in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Air Conditioning.
• 0-1 years of experience in a related field.
• Eagerness to learn and technically curious.
• Enjoy hands-on work.
