Internal Audit Senior Officer

About the Role

Salama Cooperative Insurance is seeking an Internal Audit Senior Officer to join its Internal Audit team. This full-time position is based at the Head Office in Jeddah, Makkah, and requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Internal Audit Senior Officer will be responsible for executing audit procedures, evaluating internal controls, and identifying areas for improvement within the company's operations. This role is integral to maintaining robust internal governance and risk management frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute risk-based internal audit procedures and evaluate internal controls.
• Identify control gaps, risks, and areas for improvement.
• Prepare audit working papers, findings, recommendations, and reports.
• Support risk assessments and the development of annual audit plans.
• Follow up on audit observations and management actions.
• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual internal audit reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• IFCE Certificate is required.
• 2-5 years of experience in internal audit or a related field.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of auditing standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
• Strong analytical, report-writing, and presentation skills.
• Good knowledge of the insurance industry and current developments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This position is based at Salama Cooperative Insurance's Head Office in Jeddah, Makkah.
