Role Summary

The Junior Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for conducting site audit reviews and designing site-specific solar PV systems. This involves analyzing structural, solar shading, and electrical service aspects to ensure optimal system design and integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits to gather structural, solar shading, electrical, and other relevant site information for designing small-scale residential, commercial, or industrial PV systems.
• Develop electrical single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and connection diagrams for solar electric systems using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Draft comprehensive system designs for PV projects, including site plans, single-line electrical drawings, specification of Balance of System (BOS) components, location and interconnection details, and appropriate labeling.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 1

  years of experience in a relevant field.

• Proficiency in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for electrical and system design.
• Understanding of solar PV system components and design principles.

Work Type and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah. The role requires on-site work for conducting audits and collaborating with the engineering team.
