Key Account Specialist Role

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Key Account Specialist to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah. This permanent role involves generating demand for professional power tools and accessories, managing key accounts, and conducting market research. The specialist will work to convert inquiries into orders, develop market penetration strategies, and increase brand share among customers. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate demand for professional power tools and accessories by providing effective job-site solutions to end-users.
• Manage key accounts (end-users) and ensure inquiries are converted into orders through collaboration with sales teams and distribution.
• Conduct market research on new products and communicate customer feedback to Marketing/product management teams.
• Develop and implement strategies to cover, penetrate, acquire, and protect the industrial product group business in the target market.
• Increase brand share with end-users.
• Plan and execute regular visits to key accounts to build relationships and identify end-user needs, proposing and expediting solutions.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and demonstrate effective solutions for end-user applications, highlighting features and benefits.
• Ensure marketing objectives are met by focusing on categories that increase brand share.
• Provide product and safety training to end-users to enhance productivity through correct tool usage.
• Manage new product launches and ensure account retention.
• Liaise with sales teams and dealers to ensure efficient processing of quotations and orders.
• Achieve annual sell-out targets based on focus categories and new product sell-out targets.
• Achieve new customer acquisition targets.
• Communicate and implement marketing campaigns to end-users.
• Prepare key account reports in prescribed formats for management review.
• Support marketing events such as dealer/end-user meets and roadshows.
• Maintain demonstration products and vehicles in good working condition.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant end-user sales experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Sales, or Marketing. An MBA is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for public representation, media events, product launches, demonstrations, and trade shows.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and team members.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficiency in computer skills for report generation, marketing metrics, data extraction, and familiarity with e-commerce platforms and social media.
