About The Container and the Marketing Specialist Role

The Container is a purpose-built, modular events venue located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, designed to set a new standard for live experiences. The venue hosts large-scale music events, cultural programs, brand activations, concerts, and private functions. This is a full-time, on-site position for a Marketing Specialist based in Jeddah.

Role Overview

The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the hands-on execution of marketing plans and campaign strategies developed by The Container’s management team. This role involves managing event postings, launching and monitoring paid advertising campaigns, and coordinating promotional content to ensure all marketing activities are completed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement marketing plans and campaign schedules as provided by management.
• Manage paid advertising campaigns across Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
• Set up campaigns according to approved objectives, audiences, budgets, locations, and timelines.
• Monitor campaign performance and conduct daily optimizations as needed.
• Publish and schedule promotional content, including event flyers, artist announcements, videos, ticket links, and reminders.
• Manage The Container’s social media posting calendar.
• Ensure all events are promoted according to the approved marketing timeline.
• Coordinate with designers, photographers, videographers, ticketing partners, artists, and internal teams to gather necessary content and information.
• Verify the accuracy of captions, links, dates, artist names, ticket information, and event details before publishing.
• Track campaign results, including reach, engagement, website traffic, conversions, and ticket sales.
• Prepare clear campaign performance reports for management.
• Respond to basic social media inquiries and direct users to appropriate ticketing or customer service channels.
• Provide marketing and social media support during events when required.
• Ensure all published material adheres to The Container’s brand guidelines.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven practical experience using Meta Business Suite.
• Experience managing advertising campaigns on Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, and TikTok.
• Experience in scheduling, publishing, and managing social media content.
• Strong understanding of audience targeting, retargeting, campaign objectives, budgets, and performance tracking.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly concerning event dates, ticket links, captions, and campaign schedules.
• Ability to follow approved plans and execute tasks accurately and on time.
• Capacity to manage multiple event campaigns and deadlines concurrently.
• Strong communication, organization, and coordination skills.
• Experience in events, entertainment, nightlife, hospitality, or lifestyle marketing is beneficial.
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
• A diploma or degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred; however, strong practical experience will also be considered.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah. Candidates must be based in Jeddah or willing to relocate to work full-time on-site.
