About the Role

Zahid Tractor is seeking a Mechanic-ll Truck-CVD to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time position involves carrying out essential repairs and overhauls of major truck components within the workshop environment. The role requires a professional who can conduct efficient diagnostics and repairs, ensuring high-quality work without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose issues to facilitate quick and efficient repairs.
• Conduct elementary analysis to determine the causes of various failures.
• Perform quality work independently, without direct supervision.
• Utilize special tools correctly and carefully.
• Maintain cleanliness in the work area and ensure good housekeeping practices.
• Complete all required paperwork, including time sheets, service reports, and protocol updates.
• Be prepared to undertake any other duties as required by the department.
• Be willing and capable of mentoring trainees under supervision, in line with the department’s traineeship program, or be receptive to training in coaching and assessing in the workplace.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of practical experience as a qualified Mechanic, specifically with truck products.

Essential Skills and Aptitudes

• Ability to read English and comprehend technical literature.
• Strong sense of responsibility and accountability.
• Proficiency in carrying out repairs of trucks and overhauling major components such as engines, gearboxes, and differentials.

Work Environment

This role is based in a workshop setting in Jeddah, focusing on the maintenance and repair of heavy vehicles. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team, contributing to the operational efficiency of Zahid Tractor.
