This full-time position as a Medical Advisor Immunology is based in the Makkah Province, specifically in Jeddah or Riyadh, and requires 2-5 years of experience.

Role Overview

The Medical Advisor Immunology serves as the affiliate’s medical and scientific expert for assigned products and relevant therapeutic areas. This role involves providing medical and scientific advice to key customers, engaging in scientific exchange, and developing professional relationships with External Experts (EEs). The Medical Advisor will also contribute medical and scientific input to Medical Affairs strategies and commercial plans, and provide support for medical department activities under the direction of the Affiliate Medical Director.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as an active brand team member, supporting overall strategy and execution.
• Provide medical and scientific input into marketing strategy and key commercial initiatives.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned products and therapeutic areas through continuous learning and participation in relevant events.
• Offer expert medical and scientific advice for assigned products, including responding to scientific and technical information requests.
• Contribute to the development and medical accuracy of core dossiers generated by the medical department.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with External Experts (EEs) and academic centers, coordinating advisory boards and discussion forums.
• Deliver scientific presentations and medical education programs to healthcare professionals.
• Screen relevant literature and scientific society meetings, developing summaries of key messages for internal use.
• Deliver training to sales forces and other departments, developing and updating training materials.
• Design and implement clinical research projects within defined standards and budgets.
• Provide oversight for the review, approval, and conduct of Investigator-Initiated Studies (IIS).
• Support the affiliate Clinical Research Department in managing clinical studies.
• Review and prepare promotional and non-promotional materials, ensuring medical and scientific accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable national laws, regulations, guidelines, codes of conduct, and AbbVie policies.
• Operate as a scientific interface and resource to healthcare professionals, institutions, and professional associations.
• Provide specialist medical and scientific strategic input and operational support for core activities such as local clinical research and educational initiatives.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.

Work Environment

This role is primarily site- or office-based, with the possibility of occasional remote work. Employees who are site/office-based and can occasionally perform their role virtually work both in the office and remotely, adhering to local policies and regulations.
