About the Sales Manager I Role

This full-time position as a Sales Manager I at Delta Hotels and Resorts® is based in the Makkah region, covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah. The role is designed for professionals with 0-1 years of experience, focusing on proactive sales engagement and ensuring efficient service delivery.

Role Purpose and Objectives

The Sales Manager I is accountable for proactively soliciting and handling sales opportunities. This role ensures that business is processed properly and in a timely fashion to facilitate effective service delivery. The incumbent assists in leading day-to-day sales activities, with a primary focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that support the achievement of sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure sales efforts are coordinated, complementary, and avoid duplication.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to facilitate future bookings through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows.
• Develop relationships within the community to expand the customer base and identify new sales opportunities.
• Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide accurate, complete, and effective turnover of business details to Event Management.
• Participate in sales calls with members of the sales team to acquire new business and close deals.
• Execute and support the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence.

Market Acumen and Revenue Generation

• Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
• Understand the overall market, including competitors’ strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to effectively position sales strategies.
• Close the best opportunities for the location based on current market conditions and specific needs.
• Gain an understanding of the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations to offer relevant business solutions.

Customer Service Excellence

• Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence throughout each customer experience.
• Service customers effectively to grow their share of business with the company.
• Execute and support the company’s established customer service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service consistent with the company’s daily service basics.
• Set a positive example for guest relations and interactions.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in sales or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Proficiency in managing sales activities and achieving targets.
• Strong understanding of market trends and customer service principles.
