Al Farabi Med’s services include home sample collection and laboratory testing, home nursing interventions, diabetic foot care, follow-up for chronic conditions, doctor home visits for diagnosis and ongoing care, and home physiotherapy sessions.

The Role: Nurse

Al Farabi Med is seeking a qualified and experienced Nurse to join its team. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Jeddah, within the Makkah region. The Nurse will be responsible for delivering high-quality home nursing services, ensuring patient well-being and adherence to established medical protocols. This role is crucial in upholding Al Farabi Med's commitment to responsive, patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs thoroughly to develop appropriate care plans.
• Implement individualized care plans, adapting them as patient conditions evolve.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure integrated care.
• Document all patient care accurately and promptly, maintaining comprehensive records.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, proper medication use, and health promotion practices.
• Adhere strictly to infection control protocols and all safety standards.
• Coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups efficiently.
• Provide support for home sample collection when required.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of home healthcare services.
• Perform specific nursing interventions including cannula insertion, IV fluids administration, vital signs monitoring, and assistance with daily living activities as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional nursing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to provide high-quality home nursing services.
• Proficiency in performing essential nursing procedures such as cannula insertion, IV fluids administration, and vital signs monitoring.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position. The primary base for this role is Jeddah, within the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia. The Nurse will be required to travel to patient homes within Jeddah and Makkah to deliver direct care services.
