About the Role

Saudia Cargo is seeking an Officer – Business Continuity Management to join its team in Makkah, with operations spanning Jeddah and Makkah. This full-time role is integral to enhancing organizational resilience and preparedness against potential disruptions.

Role Purpose and Context

The Officer – Business Continuity Management supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of business continuity initiatives. This position assists in conducting risk assessments, business impact analyses, continuity planning, testing activities, and awareness programs to ensure effective response and recovery capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities that may impact business operations.
• Support the execution of Business Impact Analysis (BIA) activities and the assessment of critical business functions.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of business continuity plans and procedures.
• Coordinate and maintain business continuity documentation, records, and reports.
• Support the delivery of awareness sessions, training programs, and workshops related to business continuity.
• Assist in organizing and conducting business continuity exercises, drills, and simulations.
• Monitor and track action items arising from tests, audits, and business continuity reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to collect required information and ensure continuity plans remain current and accurate.
• Support the periodic review and update of continuity plans in line with organizational changes.
• Assist in maintaining communication and contact lists used during disruptions and emergencies.
• Ensure proper filing and retention of business continuity documentation and evidence.
• Support compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, standards, and internal policies related to business continuity.
• Participate in incident response and recovery activities as required and provide coordination support during disruptions.
• Assist in preparing post-incident and post-exercise reports and tracking improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in business continuity management or a related field.

Work Location

This position is based in Makkah, with responsibilities covering operations in both Jeddah and Makkah.
