Officer Legal Collections Analytics

About the Role

The Saudi National Bank (SNB) is seeking an Officer Legal Collections Analytics to join its team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves monitoring various written-off and non-performing loan (NPL) portfolios within Retail Banking to recover the bank's rights from defaulting clients through coordinated efforts with collection and legal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain follow-up with defaulting clients to collect the bank's rights through negotiation and, when necessary, filing lawsuits, in collaboration with and supervision of the collection team.
• Review financial studies related to applications for filing lawsuits.
• Follow up with clients under the Kafalah program for collection and claim confiscation of their sponsorship.
• Monitor client adherence to payment scheduling installments and encourage timely payments.
• Coordinate the strategy for legal retail collection management and monitor implementation performance to achieve objectives.
• Monitor the legal positioning of collection clients to track developments related to their accounts.
• Address financial and accounting constraints of defaulting clients within the retail collection portfolio.
• Review and study offers submitted by clients, completing necessary steps for presentation to competent internal authorities.
• Manage various litigation and dispute settlement activities and negotiations to protect all legal rights.

Policy and Compliance Adherence

• Review all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions to ensure controlled and consistent work execution.
• Adhere to the Bank’s AML/CTF policy, guidelines, and all SAMA regulations concerning account opening, KYC, and Customer Due Diligence.
• Comply with the Bank’s Cyber Security policies and all SAMA regulations, supporting SNB in meeting internal, national, and international Cyber Security controls and requirements.

Reporting and Administration

• Prepare periodic reports on collection management on a quarterly basis.
• Perform other related duties or assignments as directed by management.
