About the Opportunity

Musanadah Facilities Management is seeking a Regional Workshop Manager to join our team in Jeddah. This full-time role requires 5-10 years of relevant experience and is central to ensuring the efficient and compliant operation of all maintenance activities within the assigned region.

Role Summary

The Regional Workshop Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of all maintenance operations within their designated region. This includes ensuring optimal fleet availability, stringent control of maintenance costs, direct supervision of workshop activities, and effective coordination with external service providers. The role ensures that all maintenance activities adhere to company policies, OEM standards, and safety regulations, with a focus on achieving operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure vehicle availability within the assigned region.
  • Supervise workshop supervisors, foremen, and technicians, ensuring high productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Monitor and control regional maintenance expenses and spare parts usage, ensuring cost efficiency in line with approved budgets.
  • Manage relationships with local service providers, dealerships, and spare parts suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained and repaired on time to support rental and leasing operations, minimizing downtime.
  • Coordinate with OEMs and insurers to process warranty claims and accident repairs effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, OEM guidelines, and regulatory requirements across all workshops.
  • Submit accurate regional reports on KPIs, maintenance costs, downtime, and workshop performance to the National Maintenance Manager.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in workshop processes, tooling, and systems for higher efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in workshop management or a similar role.

Internal and External Collaboration

This role involves close collaboration with Operations, Fleet, and Procurement teams to align maintenance activities with broader business needs. The manager will also be responsible for fostering strong relationships with external service providers and suppliers to ensure seamless support for regional operations.

Team Leadership and Standards

The Regional Workshop Manager is responsible for staff training and development, conducting performance evaluations, and contributing to succession planning. A key aspect of the role is to ensure workshop safety, maintain high standards of housekeeping, ensure environmental compliance, and cultivate a strong Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) culture within the region.
