About the Regional Workshop Manager Role

Alturki Holding is seeking a dedicated Regional Workshop Manager to lead and oversee all maintenance operations within the Jeddah and Makkah regions of Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for ensuring operational excellence and fleet readiness across the assigned territory.

Purpose of the Role

The Regional Workshop Manager is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of all maintenance activities. This includes ensuring optimal fleet availability, effective control of maintenance costs, direct supervision of workshops, and strategic coordination with external service providers. The role ensures that maintenance activities adhere to company policies, OEM standards, and safety regulations, while achieving operational efficiency and high customer satisfaction.

Core Maintenance Operations Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily preventive and corrective maintenance activities within the assigned region to ensure vehicle availability.
  • Supervise workshop supervisors, foremen, and technicians, ensuring high productivity, quality, and safety standards.
  • Monitor and control regional maintenance expenses, spare parts usage, and ensure cost efficiency in line with approved budgets.
  • Manage relationships with local service providers, dealerships, and spare parts suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of services.
  • Ensure all vehicles are maintained and repaired on time to support rental and leasing operations, minimizing downtime.

Strategic Coordination and Reporting

  • Coordinate with OEMs and insurers to process warranty claims and accident repairs effectively.
  • Submit accurate regional reports on KPIs, maintenance costs, downtime, and workshop performance to the National Maintenance Manager.
  • Work closely with Operations, Fleet, and Procurement teams to align maintenance activities with business needs.

Compliance, Process Improvement, and Staff Development

  • Ensure adherence to company policies, OEM guidelines, and regulatory requirements across workshops.
  • Recommend and implement improvements in workshop processes, tooling, and systems for higher efficiency.
  • Ensure staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations, and support succession planning.
  • Ensure workshop safety, housekeeping, environmental compliance, and maintain a strong HSE culture.

Required Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of progressive experience in managing maintenance operations, preferably within a regional capacity. A proven track record in supervising technical teams and managing operational budgets is essential for this position.
