Restaurant Supervisor

About the Role

Delta Hotels and Resorts is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role involves overseeing restaurant operations to ensure optimal service delivery and guest satisfaction, while also supporting management in various aspects of staff development and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure staff collaboration to deliver optimum service and meet guest needs.
• Inspect staff grooming and attire, addressing any deficiencies.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies, cleaning, and securing premises.
• Inspect storage areas for organization, adherence to FIFO, and cleanliness.
• Conduct scheduled inventories, stock, and requisition necessary supplies.
• Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service quality, safety, and guest well-being.
• Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees.
• Serve as a role model and initial point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy.
• Adhere to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Ensure a professional appearance, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally, develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and respond to employee concerns.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify and recommend improvements for efficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and cost-savings.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to read and visually verify information in various formats.
• Visual inspection of tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or an entire shift.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move up and down stairs/ramps.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
