About the Role

National Contracting Co Ltd is seeking a Safety Officer to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is crucial for maintaining a safe working environment and fostering a culture of safety within the organization. Role Overview

The Safety Officer will be responsible for developing and enhancing safety practices across various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential workplace hazards, utilizing safety assessment tools to ensure compliance with local regulations and organizational standards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain safety protocols and procedures, ensuring all employees receive training on these practices.
• Collaborate with management to investigate accidents and incidents, analyze root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Provide training sessions for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Monitor and report on safety performance metrics, using data analysis to identify trends and areas for improvement within the organization’s safety program.
• Act as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries, offering guidance and support to employees and fostering open communication regarding safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations by staying updated on industry standards and best practices, and actively participating in professional development.
• Assist in the development of safety-related documentation, including safety manuals, incident reports, and training materials.
• Engage with employees at all levels to promote safety awareness and encourage participation in safety programs.
