Senior Architect

About the Role

LINE Architects is seeking a Senior Architect to join their team in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a qualified architect with 5-10 years of experience in the field. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading architectural projects from their initial concept through to completion, ensuring design excellence and compliance with local regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of architectural concepts, designs, and detailed drawings for a diverse range of projects, including residential, commercial, and public infrastructure.
• Conduct client meetings and deliver presentations.
• Develop concept narratives and diagrams to support project proposals.
• Engage with clients to gather project requirements and expectations, offering insights and recommendations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to ensure accurate design implementation and facilitate effective communication among all stakeholders.
• Ensure all designs adhere to local building codes, zoning regulations, and safety standards. Conduct occasional site inspections to monitor compliance during construction.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including proposals, design specifications, contracts, and modifications.
• Stay informed about current architectural trends, technologies, and materials, applying this knowledge to enhance design processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Architect with 5 to 10 years of experience in architecture.
• Proficiency and creativity in using Revit software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead architectural projects from concept to completion.
• Strong understanding of design excellence and local building regulations.

Work Environment

This role is primarily office-based, with occasional site visits required to monitor project progress and compliance. The position may require flexible working hours and travel as needed for project demands.
