Job Description
About the Role
Binladin International Holding Group is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team in Makkah, with operations also extending to Jeddah. This full-time role focuses on financial reporting and consolidation activities for the Group, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the Group in accordance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Collect, review, and validate financial reporting packages submitted by subsidiaries.
- Perform consolidation entries, including intercompany eliminations, investment eliminations, non-controlling interests, and consolidation adjustments.
- Review intercompany balances and transactions and coordinate with subsidiaries to resolve discrepancies within reporting deadlines.
- Ensure subsidiaries comply with the Group’s intercompany reporting policies, accounting standards, chart of accounts, and reporting timelines.
- Coordinate the external audit process, including audit schedules, supporting documents, confirmation requests, and responses to audit queries.
- Monitor audit findings and follow up with relevant stakeholders to ensure timely resolution.
- Review accounting treatments for complex transactions and ensure consistent application across the Group.
- Perform analytical reviews of consolidated results and explain significant movements, variances, and unusual balances.
- Support the preparation and continuous improvement of financial reporting policies, procedures, templates, and consolidation controls.
- Maintain accurate working papers and audit trails for all consolidation and financial reporting activities.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of consolidation and financial reporting systems.
- Collaborate with accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, internal audit, and subsidiary finance teams.
Required Experience
Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in financial analysis and consolidation, preferably within a large group structure.
Work Environment and Collaboration
This role involves extensive collaboration with various internal departments, including accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury, and internal audit, as well as finance teams across different subsidiaries. The position is based in Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is a full-time commitment.
