Role Overview

Carrier is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for a full-time position in Jeddah. This role involves managing HVAC and mechanical replacement and retrofit projects from initial site assessment through to final handover. The Senior Project Engineer ensures projects are delivered according to technical requirements, schedules, budgets, quality standards, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys for HVAC and mechanical replacement projects, verifying existing conditions, identifying technical requirements, and defining the scope of work.
• Prepare comprehensive Requests for Quotation (RFQs), including scope of work, Bill of Quantities (BOQs), technical requirements, drawings, and relevant site information.
• Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and evaluate technically compliant and commercially competitive quotations.
• Manage assigned projects throughout the project lifecycle, from initial site assessment and procurement to execution, testing and commissioning, snag clearance, and final handover.
• Review technical submittals, quotations, equipment and material selections, method statements, and subcontractor proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to resolve technical challenges and site-related issues.
• Monitor project schedules, costs, quality, safety, material deliveries, and site progress, proactively identifying potential delays, risks, and commercial impacts.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, variation requests, and supporting technical documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable technical standards, contractual requirements, company procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• Coordinate project closeout activities, including commissioning, snag resolution, and final handover documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical or HVAC project delivery.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical systems, including replacement and retrofit processes.
