The Opportunity

SJ Group is seeking a Technical Manager – Contracts & Procurement to join their team in Jeddah. This full-time role involves overseeing contract management and procurement activities, with a particular focus on major projects governed by Saudi government procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead contract management and procurement activities for government projects.
• Manage procurement processes from tender announcement through evaluation, award, and contract signing.
• Ensure compliance with the Saudi Government Tenders and Procurement Law and applicable procurement procedures.
• Review tender documents, contract conditions, procurement submissions, and commercial documentation.
• Manage contract administration, variations, change orders, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Develop and implement contract management procedures, policies, and best practices.
• Monitor contractual obligations and address commercial and contractual risks.
• Coordinate with clients, government entities, procurement teams, and project stakeholders on contractual matters.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 15 years of experience in contract management and procurement.
• Demonstrated experience with Saudi government procurement regulations and laws.
• Strong understanding of contract administration and commercial risk management.
