The Role: Technician - MEM

MenaBev is seeking a dedicated Technician - MEM to join its team in Jeddah. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the operational efficiency of equipment by performing essential field repairs and preventative maintenance on coolers. The primary goal of this role is to minimize breakdown time and maintain optimal performance of cooling units.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform cooler repairs in accordance with standard diagnosis and repair procedures to minimize equipment downtime and rework.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance plans efficiently and cost-effectively to reduce irregular breakdowns.
• Accurately and completely report all completed jobs through electronic service orders using a handheld device, adhering to MEM policy.
• Manage the spare parts inventory within the service van and ensure standard inventory levels are maintained.
• Educate customers on basic equipment repair and maintenance best practices.
• Conduct all activities safely, in full compliance with local safety standards.
• Operate and maintain the service vehicle according to standard regulations and manufacturer recommendations.

Candidate Requirements

• Flexibility to move between different MEM locations and branches as required.
• Willingness to accept temporary assignments to remote branches.
• Ability to move coolers at the marketplace for repair when necessary.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role involves field-based work, requiring travel and mobility to various locations and branches to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
