Technician

About the Role

Olayan Energy Ltd is seeking a dedicated Technician to join our team in the Makkah region, specifically covering Jeddah and Makkah cities. This full-time role involves performing essential maintenance and repairs to equipment, ensuring all work adheres strictly to manufacturer's standards. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of the Technician Level 1 is to execute all required maintenance and repair tasks on equipment. This includes ensuring that every repair and calibration meets the precise specifications and quality benchmarks set by the manufacturer, contributing to the operational efficiency and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently perform repairs, calibrations, and troubleshooting on various types of equipment.
• Provide assistance and support to other team members as needed to ensure task completion.
• Diagnose, analyze, and rectify all types of faults using manufacturer's information and guidelines.
• Maintain required levels of Utilization, Productivity, and Efficiency in alignment with manufacturer's standard times.
• Ensure strict adherence to company and manufacturer's policies and procedures.
• Uphold the highest professional standards when interacting with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
• Offer technical advice and guidance to customers and internal colleagues.
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of products and actively participate in relevant training courses.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a technician role or similar field is required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform maintenance and repairs according to manufacturer's standards.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and product knowledge enhancement.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in the Makkah region, with responsibilities spanning across Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires a proactive individual capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment to achieve shared objectives.
