About the Role

Careers International is seeking to hire four Winder Operators for a tissue manufacturing facility located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience in tissue manufacturing, with a salary range of SAR 3,500–4,500.

Role Overview

The Winder Operator will be responsible for the efficient operation of high-speed tissue rewinders, ensuring continuous production and adherence to quality standards. The role involves hands-on machine operation, troubleshooting, and coordination with production and maintenance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor tissue rewinders to ensure efficient production.
• Perform machine start-ups, shutdowns, and grade changes according to established operating procedures.
• Troubleshoot production issues, including web breaks and sheet defects.
• Monitor slitter performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality.
• Monitor and adjust calender settings as required.
• Read process trends and identify operational deviations.
• Conduct quality checks and ensure products meet required specifications.
• Monitor machine performance and minimize production downtime.
• Identify operational risks and comply with safety procedures.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain operating records and follow shift handover procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in tissue manufacturing, preferably operating high-speed tissue rewinders at 1,000–1,400 MPM.
• Technical experience in rewinder start-ups, shutdowns, grade changes, and troubleshooting during production operations.
• Knowledge of web breaks, sheet defects, slitter operations, and calender adjustments.
• Ability to read process trends and follow standard operating procedures.
• Experience maintaining product quality specifications and performing quality tests.
• Ability to identify operational risks and comply with industrial safety standards.

Work Environment

This role is based in a tissue manufacturing facility in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and requires full-time commitment to operational shifts.
