Winder Operator

About the Role

Careers International is seeking a Winder Operator to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves processing jumbo rolls from the machine into specified sizes according to job orders, ensuring no quality defects arise from the winder operation. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate the winder to achieve maximum output.
• Monitor roll conditions and report any defects to the dry end operator or shift leader.
• Control and prevent physical defects such as creases, trim overflow, and piping.
• Ensure correct size, reel diameter as per Job Order Specification (JOS), and maintain good internal hardness of the reel according to QC standards.
• Take responsibility for any defects resulting from winder operations.
• Perform core insertion and reel tapping.
• Coordinate with the maintenance team for any related issues.
• Operate the winder at its design speed.
• Produce winder rolls as per SAP-generated roll cards.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a winder operator role or similar capacity.
• Demonstrated ability to follow operational procedures and achieve production targets.
• Familiarity with quality control standards for reel production.

Required Skills

• Strong attention to detail for defect detection and prevention.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with other team members and departments.
• Proficiency in operating winder machinery and understanding job order specifications.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on operational tasks within a production environment. The role requires active participation in ensuring product quality and operational efficiency.
