About the Role

Four Winds Saudi Arabia is seeking a dedicated Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is within the Customs Clearance Department and plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of goods through customs.

Role Overview

The Customs Clearance Specialist is responsible for managing the entire customs clearance lifecycle, from initial document handling and transaction classification to final delivery and financial reconciliation. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate complex customs procedures while ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and sort all necessary documents to initiate customs transactions.
• Open files, translate relevant information, and perform classification (tabneed) of transactions.
• Verify and process weights and values to ensure accurate data entry and registration with customs via the Fasah platform.
• Print customs declarations and commence clearance procedures, including submitting declarations.
• Follow up with expediters to finalize all clearance, payment, and delivery processes.
• Coordinate with carriers and schedule timely delivery operations to clients as per contractual agreements.
• Close service invoices and diligently track receivables with the accounting department, clients, and management on a weekly basis or according to client contracts.
• Prepare reports on services and development-related matters based on operational needs.
• Contribute to the evaluation and development of subordinates, resolve operational challenges to ensure workflow continuity, and adhere to all company occupational safety procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in customs clearance.
• A minimum of two years of experience in classification (tabneed).
• Proficiency in both Arabic and English, for both spoken and written communication.
• Ability to prepare daily and weekly reports in both Arabic and English.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Jeddah and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, with working hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Priority will be given to Saudi citizens.
