B Mechanical Technician

About the Role

Airbus Helicopters is seeking a B Mechanical Technician to join our team in Khamis Mushayt, 'Asir. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring optimal service support for maintenance and flight line activities, aiming for excellent fleet availability while upholding the highest quality and safety standards. Candidates should possess 0-1 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose and Scope

The B Mechanical Technician will perform detailed inspections, assembly, installation, repair, or replacement of aircraft components and systems. This includes executing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, refurbishing aircraft, and conducting function checks of various components. The role may also involve providing On-the-Job Training (OJT) as required and supporting the MRO department.

Key Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively within a team to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on the helicopter fleet in a customer environment.
• Undertake aircraft maintenance, repair, inspection tasks, troubleshooting, quality checks, and documentation completion in accordance with Company and Customer procedures.
• Perform daily preventive, corrective, servicing, and routine maintenance necessary to release aircraft for flight.
• Execute all scheduled and unscheduled activities on time, within cost, and to quality standards, while adhering to all safety requirements.
• Conduct operational implementation on the flight line, including daily servicing, refueling, and helicopter towing.
• Inspect tools and Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for condition and expiration dates before maintenance, ensuring correct usage.
• Check components and parts for conditions such as damages or leaks, and verify documentation applicability before commencing maintenance.
• Determine and perform maintenance requirements for parts, clearances, tolerances, fuel and hydraulic leaks, and corrosion damage.
• Interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical publications.
• Determine necessary repair procedures to correct defective equipment.

Compliance and Standards

The technician is responsible for strict adherence to all Aviation, Safety, Quality, and Export Control Regulations and Procedures. Compliance with all Airbus Helicopters Management Systems, Policies, and Regulations is also mandatory for this role.

Experience Requirements

• A minimum of 0-1 years of experience in a relevant mechanical technician role.
