Senior Project Manager (Mixed use) PMC background

About the Role

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Project Manager (Mixed-use) with a PMC background to join our team in Al Madinah, specifically based in Al Ula or Medina. This full-time role requires a senior-level professional to assist the client during the development stage (RIBA 1-4) and oversee appointed consultants on projects, in line with the PMC Development scope of services. The position involves direct involvement in day-to-day project management, a proactive approach, and strong leadership skills, focusing on mixed-use asset types, including sensitive heritage and restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the client in managing SMEs to produce business case feasibility reports and assess deliverables against the SME framework, Al Ula vision, destination strategy, and proposed development options.
• Coordinate PMC resources and oversee client-appointed consultants, including SMEs, Lead Design Consultants (LDC), and Cost Consultants (CC).
• Ensure project budgets are established by the appointed Cost Consultant and that design development adheres to allocated financial constraints.
• Manage project risks and challenges throughout the lifecycle, developing effective mitigation strategies.
• Support the client with stakeholder management, ensuring clear communication with client functions, regulatory authorities, and other relevant parties.
• Assist the client in complying with D&C Governance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all client-related governance, regulations, work instructions, safety standards, and legal requirements.
• Monitor and maintain high-quality standards across the project, ensuring all deliverables meet established criteria.
• Track project progress, analyze performance metrics, and provide status reports to stakeholders in conjunction with the Excellence Controls Reporting Team.
• Assist the client in producing procurement strategies aligned with the approved delivery strategy, generating TRFQ Tender enquiries for Consultancy Services, and managing consultants to produce Tender RFP Documents for Construction.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, or resources, ensuring all modifications are documented and communicated appropriately.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management.
• Demonstrated experience in a PMC background, specifically with mixed-use developments.
• Comprehensive understanding of mixed-use asset types, including sensitive heritage and restoration projects.
• Proven ability to assess business case feasibility proposals and update development strategies.
• Experience in producing executive-level presentation reports.
