Alesayi Better Life is seeking a full-time Electrical & Electronics Technician to join its Service & Maintenance team. This position is based in Jeddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia, and is specifically designed for fresh graduates with 0-1 years of experience in a relevant technical field. The successful candidate will contribute to ensuring the optimal functioning of small home appliances through expert diagnosis and repair.

Position Summary

The Electrical & Electronics Technician will be responsible for the comprehensive diagnosis, testing, repair, and maintenance of various small home appliances and their associated electrical and electronic components. This role requires strict adherence to approved technical procedures, established safety standards, and product maintenance manuals to deliver high-quality service and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and electronic faults in small home appliances and determine the appropriate repair method.
• Inspect, test, dismantle, repair, and reassemble appliances safely and efficiently.
• Repair small home appliances such as microwaves, blenders, electric kettles, vacuum cleaners, irons, coffee machines, and toasters.
• Replace defective components, including motors, switches, thermostats, heating elements, PCBs, and other electrical/electronic parts.
• Perform operational tests after repairs to ensure products are functioning properly and meet required performance standards.
• Execute maintenance and repair activities within the required turnaround time and according to product specifications and service manuals.
• Request required spare parts from the Spare Parts Department for product repairs.
• Record spare parts used and document repair details in the company's system and/or service documents.
• Communicate with Service Advisors, Supervisors, and Senior Technicians regarding repair status, technical issues, and any work-related obstacles.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the Supervisor or Senior Technician when required.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workshop and service area.
• Follow all company policies, technical procedures, and health and safety requirements.
• For home-service assignments, collect customer payments when applicable and submit the collected amounts to the Service Center within the required timeframe.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–1 years of relevant experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic components and troubleshooting.
• Basic understanding of electrical safety and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to read and follow technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and maintenance instructions.
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills in home appliance repair and maintenance.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• Previous Co-op training, internship, or practical training in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as a multimeter.
• Basic understanding of PCBs and electronic components.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic troubleshooting.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Setting

This role primarily operates within a service center environment and may also involve field-service assignments, requiring flexibility to work in various settings. The Electrical & Electronics Technician will be an integral part of a dedicated Service & Maintenance team, contributing to the efficient operation of the department.
