(Engineering Designer)

About the Role

Eventsgate is seeking an Engineering Designer to join our team in Makkah, with work primarily conducted in Jeddah and Makkah. This part-time position is ideal for individuals with 0-1 years of experience in engineering and architectural design, specifically for events. The role focuses on creating detailed plans and ensuring designs meet both aesthetic and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare engineering and decorative plans and drawings using AutoCAD and 3D Max.
• Design and optimize field space distribution for events and projects to ensure efficient movement and flow.
• Ensure all designs comply with the Saudi Building Code requirements and relevant safety standards.
• Select appropriate materials and raw materials for field implementation, balancing cost-effectiveness with quality.
• Coordinate directly with contractors and on-site implementation teams to ensure accurate execution of plans.
• Modify and update designs based on field observations and evolving site requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in engineering and architectural design, preferably within the events sector.
• Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD and 3D Max.
• Understanding of Saudi Building Code requirements and general safety standards.

Work Type and Location

This is a part-time position based in the Makkah region, with primary work locations in Jeddah and Makkah. The role requires coordination with on-site teams and contractors.
